Meet the Founder

Dave Pollmiller | Founder & Principal Designer

Dave’s journey began far from the islands, growing up amidst the sprawling suburban lawns of Kansas. Driven by a desire for a deeper connection to nature and sustainable land stewardship, he moved to Maui to work in organic agriculture and fell head over boots in love with regenerative farming and Hawaiian horticulture. Dave founded Harvest Garden to replace uninspired turf grass with lush, bio-diverse landscapes and food forests. Today, he works directly with Maui homeowners and properties to design, build, and cultivate living gardens that thrive for generations.
